Technology is key to the success of our company, including HR technology. About the position Our mission is to transform HR technology tools and create a world class employee experience. As an HR Technical Specialist on the Technology Enablement Team at DISH, your primary focus will be to own and lead the technology front of tools and technology supporting HR function. You\'ll be working actively with Technical Product Owners to understand and materialize the requirements. Automating file feeds, managing Data Lake, developing new algorithms for data sanity, generating design and development artifacts, to list a few, will be your key attributes. Key Responsibilities . Actively engage the team to identify potential automation use-cases and build them . Collaborate with Product owner to ensure features are clearly understood, planned, and prioritized appropriately . Build POCs and demonstrate generated value by automation . Add new applications to the Data Lake and maintain them . Develop algorithms to transform data into useful, actionable information . Build, test, and maintain database pipeline architectures . Collaborate with management to understand company objectives . Create new data validation methods and data analysis tools . Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies . Work on Chatbot and RPA use-cases . Test and deploy updates and new releases for products . Participate in bug fixes, new enhancements, and change requests . Involve in vendor assessment and technical feasibility . Writing unit test cases and documenting implementation plan . Maintain awareness of current trends in technical space . Learn new tools and train the team Skills & Experience . Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience . Ability to integrate and write API\'s . Experience building automated processes using platforms such as OIC, Zapier, UiPath, Azure, Boomi or other similar technologies . Working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases. . Experience or learn to build and optimize \'big data\' data pipelines, architectures and data sets. . Experience with scripting languages: Python, Julia, JavaScript, Go, Java, C++, Scala, etc. . Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement. . Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets. . Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management. . A successful history of manipulating, processing and extracting value from large disconnected datasets. . Working knowledge of message queuing, stream processing, and highly scalable \'big data\' data stores. . Self-motivated, creative, and adaptable with clear analytical, problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills . Ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing, high volume environment . Ability to effectively communicate on complex issues with a high level of effectiveness . Strong project management and organizational skills. . Able to support and work with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment. Basic Qualifications . Bachelor\'s/Master\'s Degree in Engineering discipline. . Proficiency in logic building and converting it into efficient working code. Location Requirement . This position can be based out of either the Dish Bangalore or Hyderabad location
