He/she would be responsible for leading technical discussions with other domains and customers.What You Will DoResponsibilities: Responsible for on-time support for Architecture, design, development, and delivery activities for networking domain. Work on Automotive Infotainment system software development focused on networking components Responsible for Ethernet Audio Video Bridge (AVB), Ethernet Switch or IP Networking components Maintains engineering standards by establishing and maintaining processes on software design standards. Identifies and implements methods and practices that improve effectiveness of the software delivery and maturity of software development. Mentor, Guide and review design and software contributions from the development team. Ensure proper review of code developed by Junior team members. Strong C programming, data structures and debugging/problem identification and solving skills. Assist the team in the triaging, analysis and debugging of the component level defects. Uses Agile Scrum Methodology for software development. Participate in the PI planning and provide the necessary inputs. Participate in the sprint planning and retrospectiveWhat You Need 5-10 years of product development experience in Networking domain Layer3, Layer 2 protocols. Strong component level knowledge - understanding of multi-core and multi-threaded challenges, FreeBSD and/or Linux internals. Experience developing software on L2/L3 layers of networking. Experience working in Linux and Android OS Strong C programming, data structures and debugging/problem identification and solving skills. Hands on Experience in Ethernet, VLAN, MAC table and few layer2 protocols Knowledge of ASPICE process specifically for process areas SWE.2, SWE.3, SWE.4 Hands on troubleshooting issues on run-time environment. Strong communication and inter-personal skills. Proficient in multi-threaded programming and middleware solution development on Linux & Android environment.What is Nice to Have Hands on experience in L2 switch Firewalls and port bandwidth management Knowledge of serial communication interfaces such as SPI, I2C and UART.
