As an Engineer/Sr. Engineer, you\'ll be part of a team of smart, highly skilled technologists who are passionate about learning and prototyping cutting-edge technologies. Our team is co-located and agile, with central technology hubs in Chicago, Madrid, Toronto, Chennai and Pune Responsibilities: \xe2\x80\xa2 As an ESRI GIS developer, you would be responsible for designing and implementing GIS (Geographic Information System) solutions using ESRI\'s software suite and integrating it with Angular technology-based frontend. \xe2\x80\xa2 Evaluate the best approach to solve problems. \xe2\x80\xa2 Understanding user needs and how they fit into the overall, global solution design \xe2\x80\xa2 Following source & test-driven development best practices \xe2\x80\xa2 Troubleshooting and identifying root cause analysis while resolving the issues \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the application development team. \xe2\x80\xa2 Stay abreast of industry trends, evaluate emerging technologies, and recommend solutions that enhance our mobile capabilities. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure code quality, security, scalability, and performance by implementing best practices and code reviews. Required Technical Skills: \xe2\x80\xa2 Extensive knowledge and experience with ESRI\'s ArcGIS platform, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS online, ArcGIS Enterprise. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to architect and design scalable, high-performance GIS solutions using ESRI technologies. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in designing and configuring ArcGIS Enterprise deployments, including server infrastructure, load balancing, and high availability. \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficiency in web front end technologies, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and frameworks like Angular, React or VueJS. \xe2\x80\xa2 Familiar with data visualization techniques and Geospatial data representation. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong Understanding of GIS Concepts, Data models, Geodatabases and Spatial Analysis. \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficiency in ArcGIS API for JavaScript, Python scripting, and other programing languages used in GIS Development. \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and experience with deploying and managing GIS solutions in the cloud. \xe2\x80\xa2 Understanding of enterprise-level IT infrastructure, including databases, networking, security, and system integration. \xe2\x80\xa2 Familiar with Geospatial data formats (ex: Shapefiles, GeoJSON, WMS, WFS). \xe2\x80\xa2 Understanding of UI design Principles, usability, and accessibility standards. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience of working with SCM tools like GitHub, Bitbucket, etc. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases. \xe2\x80\xa2 Hands on experience on Azure/AWS/GCP or any other cloud technology. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Sonar, Wiz. Qualifications: \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to solve complex challenges independently or with minimal assistance. \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate across cross-functional technology teams and business stakeholders including Product Leaders, Senior Tech Leaders and Program team. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and other stakeholders. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities to address complex GIS challenges. \xe2\x80\xa2 GIS Experience level: o Senior - 6+ yrs o Mid - 5+ yrs o Junior - 3 + yrs \xe2\x80\xa2 A bachelor\'s or master\'s degree in geography, geospatial science, computer science, or a related field. \xe2\x80\xa2 Relevant professional certifications, such as Esri Technical Certifications (e.g., ArcGIS Desktop Professional, ArcGIS Enterprise System Design Associate).Additional InformationAbout NIQNIQ is the world\'s leading consumer intelligence company, delivering the most complete understanding of consumer buying behavior and revealing new pathways to growth.
