Job Summary:
The Sr. Supervisor - Facilities Operations is responsible for overseeing the technical operations and maintenance of facility or portfolio of properties. This role involves managing a team of technicians and contractors, ensuring their effective performance and optimization of building systems, and coordinating ongoing maintenance activities to ensure the efficient operation of the facility. This person will collaborate with various stakeholders, including property managers and service providers, to address technical issues and maintain a high standard of building performance.
• Manage and oversee the technical operations and maintenance activities for the facility, including but not limited to HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing systems, fire and life safety systems, and other building systems.
• Lead and supervise a team of technicians and contractors responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting activities of building systems. Provide guidance, support, and training to ensure optimal performance.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime, reduce repair costs, and ensure that all building equipment and systems function effectively and efficiently.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and emergencies related to electromechanical systems promptly and efficiently. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to address problems and ensure a timely resolution.
• Assist in the development and management of the facility's maintenance budget. Monitor expenses, review contractor proposals, and negotiate contracts to optimize cost-effectiveness of maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, health and safety regulations, and environmental standards. Monitor and update technical documentation, including maintenance records, equipment manuals, and safety procedures.
• Coordinate and oversee technical projects, renovations, and upgrades within the facility. Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and architects to ensure successful execution and timely completion of projects.
• Work with procurement to evaluate, select, and manage third-party service providers and vendors, ensuring they meet required standards, deliver quality services, and maintain appropriate insurance and certifications.
• Implement energy and water conservation initiatives, monitor energy consumption, and water use, and identify opportunities for improving energy efficiency and reducing water use within the facility.
• Collaborate with property managers, builder and other stakeholders to address technical concerns, communicate maintenance schedules, and ensure a positive and efficient service experience.


Job Requirements:• Bachelor's degree in engineering with 10+ years' experience of handling technical operations in large and reputed global organizations, preferably IT/ITES companies.
• Proven experience in facility management, technical operations, or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, including but not limited to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire and life safety systems.
• Solid understanding of maintenance principles, preventive maintenance programs, and asset management.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Highly ethical, strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficient in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or facility management software.
• Familiarity with relevant building codes, health and safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Must be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision.
