REC is a highly sophisticated center of engineering excellence and based in our Indian offices in Gurgaon/ Noida. Working in partnership with all our established offices globally, the Ramboll Engineering Centre (REC) is a centre for excellence in design by offering optimized solutions to the rest of the organization.As an engineer on our team, you'll have the opportunity to be constantly be exposed to our experts/ industry leaders in the field of tunnel engineering and to major international infrastructure projects, such as the Stockholm Metro Yellow Line, and other major projects in the Nordics region. We are led by technical experts who will provide guidance and support as you grow in your role.Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

• Carrying out the design for tunnels and other underground structures based on Eurocodes and other international standards.
• Lead the production of drawings and review the work of CAD technicians in the team and maintaining quality of deliverables,
• Communication & coordination with other colleagues in the wider Tunnels group for the seamless delivery of designs
• Assist in planning and follow-up on the schedules and budgets for the works

For this role, we believe your starting point is:We are looking for self-motivated team members who meet the following requirements:

• BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering & ME/M.Tech/ MSc degree in Structural/ Geotechnical/ Tunnelling/ Rock Engg. & Underground structures.
• Should have 4 - 9 years of experience in detailed design of tunnels and underground structures, preferably with Eurocodes or any other international standards.
• Experience with design of TBM segmental lining, Pipe Jacking, Micro-tunnelling etc. would be preferable.
• Appreciation of construction methods & sequencing of Underground works.
• Experience in European projects/ European/international consultants would be beneficial.
• Have hands on experience in Finite Element analysis and design software skills, such as Plaxis 2D, Plaxis 3D, RS2, LUSAS or Sofistik.
• Professional English language skills (written and verbal).
• Proficiency in Knowledge of VBA/ Python scripting/Automation will be an added advantage.
