This job specifically involves the following key roles and responsibilities





• Reporting to the Sr. Manager of MEP Design & Engineering
• Responsibility for the overall design of low voltage systems & deliverables, including Concept Design, Schematic Design, Design Development, Tender Design / Documentation (including Technical Specifications, BOQ, Schedules and Drawings)
• Ability to design Information and Communications Technology Systems - Data Networks, Nurse Call, Electronic Security, Paging, Wireless, Security & Audio Visual systems to current legislation and codes of practice for various type of buildings based on client brief & guidelines.
Ability to work independently.

This job also involves the following aspects -


• Independently communicate with clients, stakeholders, leaders and peers in written and spoken English
• Independently create design mark-ups and perform calculations
• Display leadership skills and mentor Junior Engineers with respect
• Ability to get trained on and work on newer Electrical Design Software
• Should be ready to undertake offshore visit to clients offices, if required, for detailed training and one-to-one sessions
• Display of positive attitudes like flexibility, collaborative nature and empathy
Willingness to accept and implement constructive feedback

Qualification & Experience


• BE/BTech/ME/MTech Degree in Electrical Engineering with relevant technical qualifications
• Minimum 4 years of experience in designing low voltage systems for commercial, retail, hospital and residential projects
• Experience of designing for international projects
• Experience of having worked on AutoCAD/REVIT for preparing Electrical design layouts
• Experience of using MS Office
Proven experience of having successfully managed Client communication independently
