Are you ready to bring the right energy to Petrofac and help us deliver a better future for everyone JOB TITLE: ENGINEER- ELECTRICAL KEY RESPONSIBILITES Operate as part of a team of engineers and designers in carrying out detailed engineering works and provide necessary technical information for procurement in compliance with tender specifications/data sheets and within budgeted man-hour and project schedules. Job Responsibilities S Participate in the review of the ITB (Invitation To Bid) documents submitted in the proposals stage, issue inquiry requisitions, review techno-commercial vendor offers, prepare equipment, material and man-hour estimates. S Participate in the review of contract requirements for project execution, organize the preparation of the Technical Document Register (TDR), identify requirements and scope of work review specifications and Data Sheets, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID\'s), Plot plans, General Arrangement (GA) drawings, Review Philosophies, Area Classification Drawings and other relevant documents. Establish contract review criteria, identify and resolve discrepancies and divergences from original proposal. S Prepare the design basis, single line-diagrams, equipment and cable sizing calculations and other material and equipment analysis for client approval. Carry out short circuit load flow, voltage dips and transient stability studies using ETAP software. Perform design calculations for earthing, lightning protection, lighting, relay settings etc. S Organize and guide designers in the preparation of equipment and material specifications and data sheets, administer the development of detailed engineering calculations and drawings including the preparation of Load list/schedule Single Line Diagrams, Schematic Diagrams, Logic Diagrams, Cable Schedules and Cable Drum Schedules, Interconnection Schedules, Hazardous Area Classification, Equipment Lay-outs, Cable Routing and Lay-out Drawings, Cable Trench/Tray Lay-out Drawings, Lighting System Lay-out and Details, Earthing/Lighting System Lay-out and Details, Heat Tracing Lay-out and Details, Installation Standard Drawings, Relay Coordination Drawings and other required documents. S Prepare technical inquiry requests (Inquiry Requisitions) to vendors, participate in the technical evaluation of vendor bid offers. Perform Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE), review vendor drawings and documents. Ensure vendor equipment specifications meet with client equipment specifications and are within budgeted costs. S Review plot plans, organize the issuance of engineering drawings and technical documents for Inter- Discipline Checks (IDC\'s) coordinate with other engineering discipline in the integration of technical data inputs. S Prepare Purchase Requisitions for the procurement of equipment and materials. Ensure materials are obtained within scheduled timeframes and budgeted costs. S Meet with vendor representatives, inspect vendor works and workshops when required, provide dispatch clearance and test certificates. S Participate in HAZOP meeting with the client and representatives of other engineering disciplines. S Interface and provide clarification and guidance and technical support to construction sites and commissioning engineers provide startup assistance as required. S Perform related duties as and when directed by Direct Supervisor Should have high skill sets inAVEVA / SPELand can act as disciplineAVEVA /SPELand Automation administrator. To docustomizationelectrical deliverables inAVEVA / SPELlike SLDs, Schematics, Data sheets, Load List, Cable Schedule etc. Excellent knowledge of macros forcustomizationand can be able to do programming in macros. Support usersonAVEVA /SPELand can co-ordinate with application vendors for issue resolutions. Experience in integration environment and can-do publishing and retrieval ofAVEVA /SPELdata to SPF. Provide training to users and super users onAVEVA /SPEL and perform UAT of new version of applications andcustomization. Additional Information
