xefx83x98 Ensure employees are aware and follow the information Security Rules and data security measures to protect the company information / intellectual properties.
xefx83x98 Carry out duties assigned by superior for day-to-day operations and to ensure them to compliance with the established standards and procedures
xefx83x98 Ensure that all the Engineers/Draughtsman under his / her supervision work to the project procedures, specifications and standards, good engineering practices and techniques, and any project-specific requirements.
xefx83x98 Prepare project deliverables list for Electrical, plan Electrical section deliverables as per overall project schedule/milestones, indication of required manpower and keep track records on progress of deliverables.
xefx83x98 Identification, selection, and design of Electrical system / equipment for projects, as required
xefx83x98 Participating in design reviews and taking necessary follow up actions.
xefx83x98 Undertaking design verification and calculations, as required.
xefx83x98 Prepare and review engineering studies, installation standards, design drawings and documents.
xefx83x98 Writing technical specifications for shipboard electrical telecom & navigation equipment, and systems
xefx83x98 Liaison with Clients and Classification Societies in order to assure that all technical/engineering requirements are met.
xefx83x98 Identification, selection, and design of Electrical system / equipment for projects, as requiredxefx83x98 Identification of changes of project specifications or deliverables, variations to contractual scope, schedule impact due to client's engineering delays and rising change orders
xefx83x98 Participating in design reviews, inter-discipline checks, 3D model reviews and implementation necessary follow up actions timely
xefx83x98 Guide the Electrical team to produce 3D model and Electrical deliverables
xefx83x98 Plan and maintain manpower and other resources required for smooth operation of the work assigned.
xefx83x98 Follow up with trades and carry out inspections during vessel construction as necessary
xefx83x98 Estimate man-hours and materials for delegated aspects of work.
xefx83x98 Conduct shipyard audits, risk assessment and training as required.
xefx83x98 Review third party technical documents & drawings and clarify technical issues
xefx83x98 Resolve Classification society comments and incorporate client's comments /remarks cost effectively
xefx83x98 Organize and supervise the activities and work to ensure that all work within a specific area of Electrical engineering activity is carried out in an efficient and procedurally compliant manner.
xefx83x98 Identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes based on xe2x80x9cbest practice', improvement of processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement
xefx83x98 Prepare progress reports on time and accurately to meet company and department requirements.
xefx83x98 Prepare progress report and keep track records of project engineering deliverables for Electrical & telecom section and indicate / highlight delay from client engineering deliverables.
xefx83x98 Comply with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.

xefx83x98 10+ years relevant experience in shipyard, offshore / Oil & Gas industry in design office.
xefx83x98 Must be fluent in English
xefx83x98 Very good knowledge in technical terms and report writing skills.
xefx83x98 Knowledge of additional languages is added advantage
xefx83x98 Fully trained and knowledgeable with relevant Electrical Safety and Occupational Health & Safety standards.
xefx83x98 Broad technical knowledge of designing of electrical, control and communication systems in basic, detail and production stages for systems for marine / offshore platforms etc.
xefx83x98 Very good technical knowledge of installation and commissioning of electrical, control and communication systems.
xefx83x98 Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and successfully execute tasks in accordance with business objectives.
xefx83x98 Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.

xefx83x98 Experience in power generation, distribution system & safety.Desirable Qualifications (Not Mandatory):xefx83x98 Master's Degree in related field
xefx83x98 Membership in IET or/and IEEE..

xefx83x98 Experience in Telecom & Navigation systems
