• Ensure that company policies adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.
• Train and oversee employees on health and safety regulations
• Monitor personnel and workspace
• Always ensure the company is prepared to submit the appropriate document
• Encourage and advocate for safer work equipment, materials, and supplies
• Track the number of incidents and produce reports
• Monitor exposure to certain hazardous chemicals
• Report to the Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) and other relevant organizations
• Attend seminars/workshops for further education
• Work with legislators and politicians to support key local legislation
• Continuous inspection of project sites, to ensure a hazard-free environment.
• Assessment and approval of subcontractor safety plans.
• Verification of tools and equipment to ensure good quality.
• Promoting safe practices on site.
