Design, develop, and optimize gasoline engines for a variety of applications, including automotive, industrial, and off-road vehicles. * 3D Modeling and CAD Design:Use advanced CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, Creo) to create engine components, assemblies, and layouts. Ensure all designs meet performance, durability, and safety standards. * Thermal and Fluid Dynamics Analysis:Conduct thermal and fluid flow simulations to optimize engine cooling, combustion processes, and exhaust systems. * Performance Testing:Lead engine testing to validate design specifications, including power output, fuel efficiency, emission levels, and reliability. Collaborate with the testing team to perform real-world and simulation-based tests. * Emissions Compliance:Design solutions to meet global emission standards, including those from regulatory bodies such as EPA and EURO. Work closely with the environmental compliance team to ensure engine systems are within legal and sustainability constraints. * Component Integration:Work on the integration of various engine components (e.g., fuel systems, turbochargers, pistons, camshafts) to improve overall engine performance and efficiency. * Troubleshooting and Failure Analysis:Investigate design flaws, engine failures, and performance issues. Develop solutions to improve the engine's overall reliability and durability. * Collaboration:Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, material scientists, manufacturing, and suppliers to ensure seamless integration and production of engine designs. * Documentation:Maintain detailed documentation of all designs, analysis, test results, and modifications to ensure traceability and compliance with industry standards. * Cost Optimization:Work on designing cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality and performance standards.
