Working in collaboration with our multi-disciplinary engineering, design, and quality assurance teams, you will build software that solves real-world problems for incredible clients.
Our Back-end Engineers partner with our cross-functional teams to identify and implement innovative technologies that ensure server-side applications are robust, secure, efficient, and drive business growth.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Design, develop, and deploy AEM-based solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices and business requirements.
• Architect scalable AEM components, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability.
• Leverage advanced AEM tools and libraries such as AEM sites, assets, forms, mobile etc to deliver robust digital experiences.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, content teams, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Integrate AEM with various third-party applications, such as marketing automation tools, analytics, and eCommerce platforms.
• Customize and extend AEM components, templates, and workflows based on project needs.
• Optimize and enhance AEM for performance, maintainability, and future upgrades.
• Mentor junior AEM developers and contribute to code reviews, best practices, and development processes.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth CI/CD pipelines for AEM projects.
• Stay updated with the latest AEM and digital marketing trends, continuously improving processes and technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the AEM platform.
• Ensure seamless integration of AEM with backend systems, APIs, third party services, and other enterprise applications.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
• Adobe Certified Expert - Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) certification is highly desirable.
• Strong proficiency in AEM 6.x architecture and development.
• Experience with AEM Sites, Assets, and Forms.
• Expertise in Java, J2EE, and related frameworks (Spring, OSGi, Sling, etc.).
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, etc.).
• Experience with RESTful API design and integration.
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git, SVN) and build tools (Maven, Jenkins).
• Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS or Azure is a plus.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal/external stakeholders.
• Good to have:
+ Experience with Adobe Cloud services (Adobe I/O, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, etc.) is a plus.
+ Familiarity with DevOps practices, containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud services (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
+ Knowledge of web accessibility (WCAG) and SEO best practices is a plus.
