ABOUT THE ROLE

The ECS Scaled Innovation ? 3D Artist role is responsible for creating 3D pipelines and maintaining it for AR/VR experiences XR Scaled Innovation related solutions & applications using the XR Eco System of platform. The 3D Artist , is accountable for Production of 3D VR/AR/MR experiences development viewable on mobile devices and VR headsets and demonstrates development of Metaverse applications. This role also requires intrinsic design abilities, digital expertise, and acute attention to detail for Metaverse (AR/VR/MR) solutions. Ability Communicate and manage numerous projects, communicate with key stakeholders and collaborate with other artists is essential. With other team members & departments to establish an effective pipeline and integrate media assets. Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable 3D/2D Models . Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to address and mitigate these problems. They works with other Platforms teams with AstraZeneca to share experience in this domain is essential. The 3D Artist works closely with Unity Developer and with Engineering Teams ensures that AZ technical solutions are delivered to AZ defined reference standards technology standards.

Candidate Focus & Challenge

3D Artist Engineer ? XR This role will evaluate project needs and come up with solutions, Implementing UI, Rapid prototyping, Integrating assets and development, Optimizing and Polishing and Keeping up with latest trends and advancements in game, augmented and virtual reality.

• Must be an expert in Unity 3D, Blender , Maya , Substance Painter , Pixyz, Photoshop for Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Mixed Reality Experiecne
• 3D modelling and animation
• Assist in creating high quality 3D and 2D art content for internal prototypes
• Synthesize broad, business goals and work with the Product Design team to create environments for VR and AR
• Partner with the other creative team members to deliver high- and low-poly 3D models for mobile platforms
• (iOS and Android)
• Creates detailed artwork, such as illustrations, interactive charts, photographs, interactive maps, 3D animations, special effects Experience in computer graphics, rendering of complex scenes, optimizing applications to achieve high frame per second count in AR/VR hardware.
• Experience and understanding in UX and designing user centered interfaces for AR and VR.
• Open to learn and adapt to new tools and techniques to create immersive experiences in multiple platforms.
• Excellent knowledge of Unity, including experience with scripting, textures, animation, GUI styles, and user session management.
• Experience on CAD model visualizations in Unity, also outside of gaming industry
• Low level computer graphics, rendering of complex scenes
• Works collaboratively with Customers and Internal Stakeholders to address issues and ensure that objectives remain aligned to the business plans
• Ensures Application development lifecycle maintenance needs are identified and managed
• Maintains awareness and knowledge of industry trends and proactively identifies and drives identification of opportunities to be leveraged

Candidate Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in Unity/XR/Metaverse development is required with AR/VR Development in Unity and building interactive 3D/XR applications for various target platforms based on the Unity framework. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and a quality product are essential.

Education, Qualifications, and Experience Essential

• Relevant technical degree or equivalent
• Proven skills and experience being the solution architect on projects and programmes
• Strong knowledge and experience in Unity 3D, Blender, Maya, PiXYZ, Substance Painter
• Scene composing in Unity3D
• Texturing, Photoshop, Lighting, Rendering
• Demonstrated initiative, strong customer orientation, and cross-cultural working
• Provide and receive accurate information in research projects & other communications.
• Ability to travel to AstraZeneca?s global Operations sites
• Ability to work well in diverse, multinational teams and proven ability to influence others to achieve positive outcomes

• Master?s degree
• Demonstrated leadership skills interacting with senior leaders
• Understanding of the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry, IT trends and of competitor activity
