Senior Electrical EngineerWhat you will doThe candidate will be part of the team responsible for product development and sustenance of JCI Global products. He/she will have the skill sets that will meet the job demands for this years projects. The candidate must possess the ability to self0start with limited guidance. The candidate will work alongside with other engineering teams, such as Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, and IT related personnel. This individual to hold meetings regularly to update activities and milestones. The primary focus for this candidate will be design & development of electrical control panels, design of electrical system, load calculation, feature application and design review Ensuring quality and timeliness design release of the product development and manufacturing drawings for control panels for self and other team members.How you will do itThe candidate will help the Project Electrical Engineer with preparations and guides of:\xef\x82\xb7 Design & Development of electrical control panels, wire harness, select electrical equipment with load calculation and sizes.\xef\x82\xb7 Application wise panel building & selection of equipment with UL standard.\xef\x82\xb7 Create load list for complete panel, application engineering. \xef\x82\xb7 A creative flair and design ability as per application.\xef\x82\xb7 Analyze the power circuits, MCC, VFD, Controllers, overload relays, Junction boxes.\xef\x82\xb7 Follow standard procedures and practices for engineering works.Preferred\xef\x82\xb7 Knowledge of electrical equipment selection and finalize for panel building.\xef\x82\xb7 Design and development of electrical control panel and enclosures as per manufacturing needs.\xef\x82\xb7 Have design knowledge of various equipments selection like Disconnect switches, power terminal blocks, Fuses, MCB, Controllers, VFD, Application engineering.\xef\x82\xb7 6 to 10 years of experience in electrical design, selection of panel equipment as per regulatory standard.\xef\x82\xb7 Experience with BOM structure, engineering change process, AutoCAD, Creo tool, etc.\xef\x82\xb7 Proven experience as team leading, Strong communication skills.\xef\x82\xb7 BE (Electrical/ Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Instrumentation) or equivalent.Johnson Controls is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, protected veteran status, status as a qualified individual with \\ a disability, or any other characteristic protected by law.
