As a Team Senior for Electrical Systems in our company, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining the various electrical components and systems that power our cutting-edge drone technology. Your expertise will be focused on battery systems, harness design, Battery Management Systems (BMS), power distribution boards, and all other electrical subsystems. You will lead a team of engineers and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, performance, and safety of our drone products. Key Responsibilities: Technical Leadership: Lead a team of electrical engineers in designing, testing, and optimizing electrical systems for drones, including batteries, harnesses, BMS, power distribution boards, and related components. Design and Development: Drive the design process for electrical systems, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements. Oversee schematic design, layout, and prototyping activities. Battery Systems: Take ownership of battery selection, integration, and management. Collaborate with suppliers to evaluate and select appropriate battery technologies for different drone applications. Harness Design: Lead the design of wiring harnesses for drones, considering factors such as weight, electromagnetic interference, thermal management, and durability. Battery Management System (BMS): Develop and implement BMS solutions to monitor and manage battery health, charging, and discharging to ensure safety and optimal performance. Power Distribution: Design and oversee power distribution boards, ensuring efficient and reliable distribution of power to various subsystems within the drone. Testing and Validation: Develop test plans, oversee testing processes, and collaborate with the testing team to validate electrical systems\'\' performance and safety. Analyze test results and drive improvements based on findings. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software engineers, and product managers, to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into the overall drone design. Research and Innovation: Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to drone electrical systems. Implement innovative solutions to enhance drone performance and capabilities. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all electrical designs, schematics, testing procedures, and validation results.
