The designated person in charge will primarily focus on closely monitoring compliance with all government and local regulations pertaining to workplace safety. This will involve overseeing projects related to fire and thermal energy within or in proximity to the property, and ensuring that all safety standards are strictly followed to maintain a risk-free work environment.Reporting to the property manager, the person in charge will also be responsible for maintaining up-to-date documentation and records that pertain to workplace safety. This includes conducting routine audits and inspections of systems and panels to identify any potential issues that could compromise safety.In addition to proactively managing safety measures, the person in charge will be expected to effectively promote safety standards to both clients and the internal team. This entails collaborating with clients and the EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) team to implement a comprehensive energy management program that identifies and addresses risk factors.Furthermore, the person in charge will be responsible for ensuring that contractors and external parties adhere to established safety standards. This will involve building strong relationships with these stakeholders and overseeing EHS trainings, as well as supporting incident investigations and identifying opportunities for improvement.Overall, this role plays a critical part in maintaining a healthy and safe work environment by diligently monitoring compliance, promoting safety standards, and continuously enhancing workplace safety measures.

  • End-to-end representative of IFM Vendor for on-site operations w.r.t. EHS Environment, Health & Safety
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are promptly implemented.
  • Report Incident/Near Miss reports to client (within 24 hrs) followed by RCA (Root Cause Analysis) submission
  • Conduct Risk Assessment for the repetative area under high risk & submit site risk level on monthly basis
  • Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations in-line with PepsiCo.
  • Maintain/carry out Inspection & Maintenance records for Fire & Safety Equipments such as Fire Extinguishers, smoke detector, MCP, Fire Panel Integration etc.
  • Take daily inspection round for Kitchen operations & flag-off unsafe conditions; followed by necessary mititgation plan to ensure smooth operations
  • Monitor & Maintain Record for pest activites for entire site
  • Provide training to third party vendor & support staff on regular basis & keep records
  • Help in compilation of compliance documents for all the existing vendor associated with IFM
  • Keep Track record of Utilities consumption (Water, Electricity, Diesel) & submit monthly report
  • Take Initiatives for Site sustainability in the area such as but not limited to Water, Waste, Energy
  • Establish targets, KPIs, schedules, policies, and procedures.
  • Presenting MMR and QBR's related to EHS to client.
  • Perform all activities assigned by PepsiCo EHS Team.
  • Support and execute company policies and processes.

To apply you need to have:Top-level expertise in health and safetyAs the person in charge, you must have a degree in Environmental Science, and at least three years experience in managing EHS tools and systems across complex, multisite properties. It is also highly desirable to have Lead Auditor Qualifications, Chartered Membership of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (CMIOSH) certification or any other equivalent. An in-depth understanding of international safety standards is also a big plus.Likewise, the ideal candidate must demonstrate proficiency in root cause analysis, management system auditing and EHS-related research. You must also show a flair for reports and presentations providing smart insights and developing policies when needed.Passion for delivering excellent serviceAs the person in charge, youll demonstrate superior communication skills to earn the trust and respect of colleagues and clients and ultimately, usher them toward a common goal of maintaining a risk-free workplace. Likewise, you are a results-driven leader with impeccable organisational skills and superior business acumen.You must also have excellent negotiation skills and expert-level background in policies, codes of practice and operating procedures. Furthermore, you must demonstrate an ability to work both independently and with a group.
