This position involves working within the Special Projects Team at XS CADs Global Delivery Centre in Andheri, Mumbai. The team comprises skilled professionals, including architects, engineers and designers with varied experience. The Senior Dynamo Script Developer will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining automated workflows using Dynamo.Key Roles and Responsibilities:This job specifically involves the following key roles and responsibilities:

• Develop, implement and maintain Dynamo scripts for automating different tasks in BIM

• Collaborate with the team and managers to understand problem statements and work challenges

• Provide Dynamo technical support and troubleshooting assistance to the team

• Stay updated, research and develop new technology related to Dynamo, automation, add-ins and Revit

• Understand Revit Architecture, MEP systems and background details, develop scripts for automation

• Know Python and Revit APIs, develop custom nodes using Python and Revit API

• Manage scripts and Add-ins using web and cloud management

• Track script health status and other data after publishing scripts

• Develop document workflows, scripts and tools in a structured manner

• Provide training and support to teammates based on requirements

This job also involves the following aspects:

• Independently communicate with stakeholders, team leaders

• Plan and implement efficient automation scripts to accelerate project modelling, QC, etc.

Qualification & Experience Required:

• BE/BTech in mechanical engineering or a related field

• Minimum 4 years of full-time experience in developing Dynamo scripts and 2 years experience in working with Revit on projects

Key Skills:

• Highly experienced in Dynamo script development

• Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python, C# and Revit APIs

• Familiarity with BIM concepts, tools and software

• Deep understanding and experience working with MEP systems and architectural models

• Proven skill in developing custom packages using Revit API

• Extensive work experience in Revit and other BIM software

• Ability to optimise scripts for larger models.

• Develop and manage scripts for multi-users

• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

• Experience in BIM-related projects

• Proven skill in error handling

• Proven track record of successfully developing and executing scripts
