• 7+ years experience designing and delivering products in cross-functional teams from start to finish
• 3+ years management experience
• Product management experience covering a full product lifecycle, from concept to release
• A strong passion for managing and mentoring designers
• Deep understanding of user-centered design methods and best practices
• Demonstrated desire to continually improve processes
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, agile environment
• Ability to explore ideas, persuade others, and build consensus on fast-moving projects with varying degrees of ambiguity
• Self-motivation; ability to produce results both independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and active listening skills, with ability to build and develop close, trusting relationships
• Experience using multiple approaches, including analytics and user research, to drive decisions and develop product iterations
• Ability to distill and reframe a problem, then define a framework for resolution, generating clear, elegant solutions for complex issues
• Expert knowledge of current design tools such as Figma, along with the ability to quickly learn new tools as they emerge
• Motivation to stay up to date with industry news and developments
• BA/BS or MA/MS in design-related field, or equivalent experience

• Experience with CRM or enterprise software

Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop a team of talented designers, optimizing culture and processes to produce strong results and successfully address the team\xe2\x80\x99s unique challenges.
• Recruit, nurture, and retain best-in-class talent. Demonstrate behaviors, attitudes, actions, and judgements that inspire employees to follow and other leaders to trust.
• Influence the company and product vision, and and compellingly communicate it to a range of key stakeholders.
• Serve as a bridge between design, product, engineering, and marketing teams.
• Drive large-scale design initiatives that include multiple cross-disciplinary contributors.
• Work closely with product owners/managers, finding opportunities for new products and features and validating assumptions through user testing and research.
• Reinforce a design-thinking culture that draws from the best and most innovative products, technology, and talent
• Oversee and manage multiple application interfaces.
• Work with developers and quality experts to deliver a polished final product.
• Evangelize Salesforce Lightning design interface guidelines and design patterns.
• Set the vision for a product\xe2\x80\x99s creative identity, articulate it clearly and convincingly, and guide the team through its implementation.
• Create inclusive designs for all users. Advocate for accessibility, encouraging product and engineering management to prioritize accessible features and bug fixes.
