Own quality, timeline, and budgets. Propose trade-offs as appropriate and drive for timely decisions.Energize the team for strong engagement on programs. Continually identify and drive actions necessary to ensure overall team efficiency and effectiveness.Work with global functional managers and Chief Engineersxe2x80x99 office to refine technical ownership strategies & drive local competency growth that is required to realize the strategies.Work with global functional managers to effectively realize functional excellence in the various disciplines within the site teams.Local ConnectionsCreate a unified, energized workforce locally xe2x80x93 across sub-functions, with a strong Monitoring Solutions identityRepresent Monitoring Solutions in region technology organization & support local initiatives and collaborationsConnect team with local market and customersDrive local vendor partnership effectiveness.Qualifications/RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Electrical, Biomedical or Computer Engineering or equivalent discipline.Minimum of 15+ years of design & development experience preferably in medical device development.Minimum of 5+ years of engineering management experience and leadership of direct reportsMinimum of 5+ years of program management experience, leading product development efforts from concept to delivery for introduction into the global market.Demonstrated ability to deliver results while leading multiple projects simultaneously, balancing resources, timing and quality of outcomes.Experience working in a global, matrixed organization.Demonstrated engineering knowledge, program management, and business planning processesDemonstrated experience in state-of-the-art software development methodologies and toolsDemonstrated knowledge of FDA design controls requirementsAbility and willingness to travel 10% both domestic and internationalDesired Characteristics15+ years overall progressive engineering work experience through a variety of program and functional leadership roles.Demonstrated people management skills.
