We are seeking a hands-on, seasoned, and passionate Senior Director Information Security to join our Bangalore office and lead our Information Security teams. This role will develop and implement a comprehensive information security strategy for our SaaS-focused company, with a strong emphasis on secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
Responsibilities:• Develop and implement a robust security strategy aligned with our SaaS business model
• Lead the implementation of secure SDLC processes across all product development teams
• Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to integrate "Security By Design" principles into our product roadmap
• Analyze and mitigate real-time IT security threats specific to SaaS environments
• Ensure compliance with SaaS-relevant regulatory requirements and facilitate audits
• Drive improvements in our NIST Cybersecurity Score
• Lead global teams in Compliance and Security Operations
• Present regular security status reports to executive leadership and board of directors
• Oversee data governance, vulnerability management, and application security
• Work closely with IT to secure infrastructure supporting our SaaS offerings


Requirements:• 10+ years of experience in leading information security, with a focus on SaaS environments
• Extensive knowledge of secure SDLC methodologies and their application in SaaS
• Proven track record implementing security measures for cloud-based services
• Strong understanding of risk management in SaaS contexts
• Familiarity with regulations relevant to SaaS, AI, and RPA organizations
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field; MBA preferred
• 5+ years' experience managing global teams
• Experience with start-ups and pre-IPO firms in the SaaS sector
• Expertise in Cyber Security Governance and Regulatory Compliance for SaaS
• Proficiency with ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, and other relevant frameworks
• Experience in financial forecasting and budget management for security initiatives
• Outstanding negotiation and leadership skills


The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SaaS-specific security challenges and the ability to implement robust security measures while enabling rapid, secure development and deployment of our SaaS offerings.• + Soft
