So, if you share our ambition, join us at this exciting moment in our journey to get Ahead Together.Job Purpose:As the Senior Director and Head of Enterprise Transformation Office (ETO) at GSK, you will lead and manage our portfolio of enterprise transformation projects across various functional areas cutting across the enterprise. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our portfolio is strategically aligned with our business goals and that resources are effectively allocated with right capabilities to deliver measurable and maximized value of the portfolio. You will work closely with senior leadership, project teams, and other stakeholders to drive portfolio decision-making and management processes.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Portfolio Management:

  • Lead the development and implementation of portfolio strategies that align with GSK's overall business objectives.
  • Ensure that the portfolio contains a balanced mix of projects that support long-term growth and sustainability.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership on portfolio prioritization and resource allocation.
  • Drive ETO Growth
  • Ensure Business value is created as per the respective transformation agenda
Governance and Decision-Making:
  • Establish and maintain robust portfolio governance processes. Conduct regular portfolio analysis to assess performance, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to provide insights into portfolio trends and opportunities.
  • Develop and present portfolio performance reports to senior leadership and other key stakeholders.
Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Digital & Tech, Commercial, Global Supply Chain, Finance, HR, Procurement etc. to ensure alignment and effective communication around portfolio decisions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for portfolio-related inquiries and initiatives.
Capability Building:
  • Ensure ETO Capabilities are aligned with GSK needs, Emerging Industry trends and identify and implement new capabilities driven by business needs
  • Ensure capability standards, methodologies, maturity assessments, best practices and training mechanisms are standardized and consistently implemented across ETO, creating fit-for-purpose Transformation capability within the team
  • Ensure best practices are shared and adapted including current and past opportunities
Business Operations:
  • Define business and operational strategies that align with overall GSK and Enterprise Transformation Office goals, evolution needs and bring industry best practices (outside-in view)
  • Responsible for defining and implementing structured Demand/Supply process, project allocation/reporting, and key operational KPIs
  • Owning ETO budgeting, implementing effective tracking/reporting mechanisms for Budget Utilization, ETO business case tracking, and financial KPIs
Delivery Excellence:
  • Ensuring consistent value delivery measures across portfolios, driving continuous improvement initiatives within ETO
  • Managing vendor excellence through structured vendor governance and relationships
Team Leadership and Development:
  • Lead and mentor a team of Portfolio Leads (Directors), Portfolio Managers (Associate Directors), Senior Managers and Analysts.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the portfolio management team.
  • Lead & develop a high performing and engaged teams
  • Identify and address skill gaps within the team and provide opportunities for professional development.
Why You?
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree (MBA, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
  • Good understanding of GCC Industry, proven experience in GCC landscape, preferably running transformation programs at an enterprise level
  • At least 10 years of experience in an enterprise role / running enterprise transformation programs/projects, portfolio management, project management with overall experience of more than 18+ years.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing diverse portfolios and driving strategic decision-making.
  • Rich consulting/transformation experience to deliver global transformation initiatives
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • A proven track record of spearheading and delivering transformative Business changes across multiple large-scale programs and business units
  • Aptitude for inspiring cross-functional, virtual, global, and diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering results within complex and global environments, with a knack for solving intricate business and process problems
  • Superior relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with strong persuasive and influencing capabilities
  • Adept problem-solving and negotiation skills, coupled with a process-oriented mindset
