Role:

• Droom provide automobile inspection services in 1174 cities PAN India for Droom ecosystem and large enterprises as part of our SaaS offerings. As a managed marketplace, Droom delivers automobile to customer doorsteps either sitting on flat-bed truck or driven by delivery driver. We are looking for an Ops leader to manage end to end operations for automobile inspection and fulfillment & delivery. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced ops leader to join our team as Senior Director Operations. The ideal candidate will have strong operations background particularly in logistics, supply chain, field operations, quick commerce and 3PL providers. Someone who understands operations management, operation research and operation planning with keen eye on capacity planning, service level agreement and operation excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage operations to optimize capacity, enhance customer experience, and drive business growth.

• Implement innovative solutions to minimize costs and improve delivery timelines.

• Manage field operations teams responsible for automobile inspection and delivery. Implement best practices to ensure quality and consistency across locations.

• Drive efficiency and speed in delivery operations, particularly in the context of quick commerce. Implement innovative solutions to enable faster fulfillment and delivery.

• Collaborate with 3PL providers to ensure seamless integration and performance. Evaluate and select new partners as needed to meet business requirements.

• Develop capacity planning strategies to meet demand fluctuations. Monitor and manage SLAs to maintain highest level of service quality standards.

• Conduct regular performance reviews and implement corrective actions as needed.

• Champion a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the operations teams. Leverage data analytics and performance metrics to drive informed decision-making and process optimization.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in operations management, with a focus on logistics, supply chain, field operations, quick commerce, and 3PL providers. Track record of successfully leading large-scale operations teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute operational strategies aligned with business objectives. Experience in operation research and planning principles, with a keen eye for capacity planning and service level management.
