Location(s): IndiaCity/Cities: BangaloreTravel Required: 26% - 50%Relocation Provided: YesJob Posting End Date: September 29, 2024Shift: Summary:Role OverviewThis role is responsible for partnering with the CBO Leadership Team in creating and executing a robust finance strategy that enables delivery of the annual business plan and supports the long-term goals of growth and profitability. This role will also drive performance enablement by leveraging data and insights for more effective and transparent decision making. Additionally, the role involves spearheading digitization and automation initiatives for continuous process improvement and operational excellence.As a senior member of the OU Finance team, reporting directly to the OU CFO, this role builds on strong negotiation, influence and communication skills to align strategies and build value-based relationships with our bottling partners. The incumbent will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to effectively drive financial outcomes and build alignment on key metrics and initiatives.Focus, Scope and ImpactBusiness partnership: - Partner with Bottling Finance and Business Leadership team to drive all activities at the Cluster level. This role will impact an annual volume of ~830 Mn+ and system NR of
$1.8 Bn. This role will drive alignment across multiple senior stakeholders, and develop the key insights needed to inform strategic priorities and deliver following -

  • Deliver revenue and operating income targets through analytics to help deliver growth.
  • Budgetary controls and performance management on DFR and frontline DME
  • Drive governance and compliance across bottler support processes by ensuring all controls in place through Purchase order workflows.
  • Administer transfer price process for inter bottler sourcing of finished goods by closely monitoring commodity prices, value chains, product formulations and productivity initiatives.
  • Set rebate and deduction strategy, manage financial negotiations.
  • Support the system in mitigating inflation through productivity, mix and pricing.
  • Deliver insights based on understanding of the consumer, customer, competitive and economic landscape and identify opportunities in the market to continue to deliver business growth
Impact System Financial Health through
  • Strong routines to track and monitor system economics leveraging inputs from various sources.
  • Set, track and be accountable for profitability and margins objectives.
  • Monitor and negotiate incidence pricing protocols to manage value-sharing alignment.
  • Bring margin discipline to operational business decisions.
  • Monitoring progress on premiumization initiatives.
  • Partner in initiatives for launches in white spaces to help build profit pool.
Transformation Support: Support the organization initiatives in transformation projects that will help build system ready for future. The role supports the Business Development and Transformation team for transition work for any transactions executed.Work with bottling system to build capabilities of future in the areas of working capital management, taxation, governance and digitization.Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:12 years of leadership experience in senior financial planning or commercial finance roles Extensive management experience, with ability to work in a diverse cultural environment as a highly efficient communicator and influencer at all levels Ability to lead teams/prior people leadership experience and collaborating cross-functionally on enterprise priorities Understand the tax and fast evolving regulatory environment of India and its multiple states well to support PAC team in advocacy efforts and business team in identifying opportunities and constraints to various business models Broad expertise in Risk management, Agile ways of working, enterprise-wide / transformational initiatives, portfolio strategy and flexibilitySkills: Budgeting, Communication, Decision Making, Economics, Financial Analysis, Financial Modeling, Forecasting Process (Inactive), Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Group Problem Solving, Internal Auditing, Microsoft Office, Preparation of Financial Reports, Teamwork, Value ChainOur Purpose and Growth Culture:We are taking deliberate action to nurture an inclusive culture that is grounded in our company purpose, to refresh the world and make a difference.
