The Team: Design, develop and maintain editorial application platform for both internal as well as customer-facing solutions. The individual will contribute as part of existing team working closely with IT architects, tech leads, business analysts and quality assurance specialists. Responsibilities: Ability to Translate Business Requirements into DCO, Case design/application builds Hands on experience building rules, data objects, integrations, and activities by following best practices Analyze, design and/or develop best practice business changes through technology solutions Identify key performance alerts provided by the system and understand how to resolve the underlying issue Manages code migration from development through to production. May assist and help train lower level developers What We\'re Looking For: Basic Qualifications: 8+ years of experience with atleast 5 years in the following areas: -Java, J2EE -Angular JS, RESTful Services, Spring, Spring Boot Working experience in SQL, PLSql on any RDBMS like Oracke, MySql, SQL Server etc Working experience on ORM tool like hibernate etc. Experience in analyzing user requirements and translating/implementing into database code Excellent verbal and written communication skills [English] Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Experience with source code management practices and systems Experience with Agile as well as Waterfall development methodologies Company Profile: At S&P Global Platts, we provide the insights you make better informed trading and business decisions with confidence.
