• You will participate in the development of a new software platform used to control, service, and maintain hundreds of thousands of Siemens Healthcare instruments and various other systems world-wide. You will work on challenging tasks to enable integration of medical devices and processing of high throughput as well as big volume of data, real-time connectivity, and data visualization, just to mention a few.

• You are part of a Scrum team responsible for developing a continuous delivery pipeline used by all development teams (Scrum teams) for developing and operating above mentioned software. You are automating the setup of required cloud environments (e.g., test environment, pre-production environment, production environment) as well as the deployment between those environments.

• Your team is a key enabler for all development teams that leverage the provided development, testing, and operation infrastructure. You will work in close collaboration with all Scrum teams, and you will act as evangelism for adhering to DevOps practices.

• You will enable faster and smaller releases of product with introduction of new tools and technologies and/or improving the existing tools as necessary.

• You will developing automated test pipelines to setup test systems for all levels of tests where development teams can plug-in test cases for quality assurance, develop automation, monitoring, and logging solutions.

• You will understand the test strategy, test tools, and drive continuous improvement measures.

What expertise we want you to bringIf you are coming from a DevOps background, then we expect.

• 4 - 8 years working in the DevOps area.

• Significant experience in setting up automated Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and automated test pipelines (from unit over system to NFR tests) for continuous software quality assurance.

• Significant experience in setting up AWS infrastructure for DevOps environments leveraging the full power of AWS native services (e.g. EKS)

• Significant experience and programming skills with the container technology Docker, the orchestration technology Kubernetes, Nginx and Helm

• Significant experience in creating scripts/ tools in PowerShell/ Shell Scripting/ Python or equivalent for managing the infrastructure and task requirements in build/release pipeline.

• Significant experience in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) programming skills like Terraform to setup Cloud infrastructure.

• Significant hand-on experience in managing IT infrastructure and security.

• Significant understanding of Windows & Linux Administrator, Networking, Firewalls etc.

• Good knowledge of Operating System setup including Windows and Linux.

• Installing, upgrading, configure, manage, and implement Windows systems and servers.

• Knowledge on Logging and Monitoring tools like Open Search, Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus.

• Knowledge of security best practices and the ability to integrate them into the software development lifecycle.

• Proven experience in implementing and managing security measures within DevOps environments.

• Familiarity with tools and technologies used for continuous monitoring, vulnerability assessment, and risk management.

• Ability to collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure secure code deployment and infrastructure management.

• Commitment to continuous learning to stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and threats.

• Knowledge on handling Certificates/ Cert-Manager.

• Knowledge on Security tools like Calico.

• Have excellent analytical and debugging skills.

• Take part in the design, architecture, implementation, and maintenance of infrastructure.

• Working knowledge of artifacts management like JFrog Artifactory, npm, nuget is must.

• Ability to solve problems and constructively collaborate with stakeholders.

• Experience in applying and adopting agile development processes (e.g., SAFE) and principles in large software projects and organizations.

• You are self-organized, proactive and bring about improvements in system.

• Strong communication skills and experience in an international team and international environment.

• Business fluent English in reading, writing, and speaking.

Education & Training:Education:

• Engineering Graduate / Postgraduate (preferably a major in Information Technology/ Computer Science).
