Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Development Operations Engineer to join our Clarivate team in Bangalore. This is an amazing opportunity to work on the ProQuest Research suite of products. The team consists of 12 people and reports to the VP of Software Development. If you have skills in Quality Assurance and Selenium, we would love to speak with you.

About You \xe2\x80\x93 experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

At least 6 years of experience in AWS/Azure and building / deploying professional software

At least 4 years of experience in Linux, Shell scripting, Jenkins, Python, Chef/Ansible, Docker

At least 2 years of experience in Datadog, PagerDuty, Github, JIRA, Confluence

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science or computer engineering

It would be great if you also had . . .

Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in computer science or computer engineering

Software development skills in Java and MySQL

Knowledge of Bitbucket, Splunk, Puppet, New Relic, Cloudflare, and Monit

What will you be doing in this role?

Building, deploying, and ensuring the stability of several web applications

Providing 7 x 24 support of commercial software solutions

Interacting with software development senior engineers and architects

Monitoring uptime, resource usage, capacity utilization

Contact point for upgrades of software development tools, operating systems, or other systems interacting with applications

Product you will be developing

The team maintains and supports several applications, including a K12 research platform, a culture-oriented application, learning tools, and a suite of genealogy products. The products exist in the ProQuest brand of Clarivate.
