Position: Senior Developer - Web, Digital Business Purpose: This position is required to provide best tech solution to the business Education: B.E./B.Tech, MCA or Equivalent Computer Degree Experience: 6+ Years Proficient in web technologies (Smart TV JavaScript Frameworks, TAL, React JS, Node JS, API gateways, web services) and Cloud infrastructure. Location: Mumbai Reporting Relationship: Technical Architect -Technology, Digital Business Business/Channel/Function: Digital business Key Responsibilities: Technology solutions Finding the best tech solution among all possible to solve the existing business problems. Describing the structure, characteristics, behavior, and other aspects of software to project stakeholders. Defining features, phases, and solution requirements. Providing specifications according to which the solution is defined, managed, and delivered. Processes Management Analyzing the technology environment Analyzing enterprise specifics Analyzing and documenting requirements Setting the collaboration framework Creating a solution prototype Participating in technology selection Controlling solution development Supporting project management Knowledge Management Driving the science roadmap for web platforms & analytics services. Driving technical and architecture planning for the Web platforms. Thorough understanding of search engines and social platforms. Technical Experience with app development for Samsung, LG, Sony Bravia TV (Tizen, Orsay,WebOS, Linux based Operating Systems) Should have excellent programming/coding and logical skills. Should have experience in Smart-TV JavaScript-Frameworks TAL/React/NodeJs development with proven experience in developing scalable, reliable and robust products. Should be knowledgeable with video player integrations with shaka-player, video-js, hls-js, dash-js or similar web players. Good understanding of Cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and CDNs is preferred. Basic understanding of Video transcoding engines [ffMpeG, AWS Media convert etc..] Should have knowledge of web technologies, APIs Gateways, Web Services for mobile apps and Payment gateways such as JusPay, razorpay ,UPI, PayTM etc. Through understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (e.g. Requirements, Design, Development, Testing) and Exposure to Agile or iterative SDLCs.
