Role Objective :


The Qlik Sense Senior Developer will design, develop, and optimize Qlik Sense applications and dashboards, ensuring the seamless integration of data from multiple sources to provide actionable insights for informed decision-making across the organization. Roles & Responsibilities :

• Business Understanding : Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into Qlik solutions.
• Arch/Design Documentation : Develop comprehensive architecture and design documentation for Qlik Sense applications and data models.
• Dev Testing & Solution : Implement and oversee development testing to ensure the reliability and performance of Qlik Sense solutions. Provide solutions to identified issues and continuously improve application performance.
• Understanding Coding Standards, Compliance & Infosecurity : Adhere to coding standards and ensure compliance with information security protocols and best practices.
• Non-functional Requirement : Address non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, security, and maintainability in the design and development of Qlik Sense applications.
Requirements :



Qualifications: Graduation in computer science or related IT fields.



Experience: 2-5 years of experience as Qlik Sense Developer



Technical Skills:

Core Qlik Sense Concepts:



+ Qlik Sense architecture and Associative Engine
+ ETL (Qlik Scripting, QVDs) and Visualization techniques.
+ Data modeling best practices (Star schema, Snowflake, etc.)
+ Qlik expressions (Set analysis, Aggregation functions, Calendar functions, Chart exp, Apply map etc.)
+ Security (Section access, Incremental data update)
+ Develop custom extensions (JavaScript, HTML, and CSS)
+ Performance optimization (Incremental loading, Caching, Aggregation etc.)
+ Server Administration (QMC, user license handling etc.)
+ Report template design & creation
+ Automation & scheduling reports (Repository Service API)
+ NPrinting


SQL Concepts & Hands-on Experience :


+ Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with SQL for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
+ SQL querying and data manipulation
+ SQL optimization techniques
+ Stored procedures, User-Defined Functions (UDFs), Window Functions and triggers
+ CTEs (Common Table Expressions), Pivot/Unpivot
+ Indexing, Query Tuning (Execution Plans, Bottlenecks)


Nice to Have:

+ Programming Language: Knowledge and hands-on experience in any other programming language.
+ Scripting: Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell)
+ Web Technologies: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is helpful for creating custom visualizations and extensions.
+ Security: Understanding of HIPPA, GDPR rules
+ Qlik Advanced Concepts: Understanding & has developed Mashups in Qlik


Knowledge:

+ Common application/web security and OWASP vulnerabilities.
+ Encryption algorithms to protect sensitive information.
+ PII, PCI, HIPAA, and GDPR compliance and its implementation.
+ Security breaches of data-in-transit and data-at-rest.
+ Finding the vulnerabilities of the third-party components/ libraries.
