Senior DeveloperWe are looking to hire a Senior .NET, C# developer to work in LONDON STOCK EXCHANGE GROUP\'s Data and Analytics division. Should be proficient in technologies like .NET, C# and SQL, and have a solid understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps tools. Candidate should have exposure to Development and Support projects, with a proven background in software engineering with familiarity to solve complex problems. Candidate should be able to collaboratively work with own and other teams to ensure the objectives are met.Responsibilities

• Incident and Problem Management - Responsible for Triaging, and analysing reported incidents and take steps for resolution. Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues across application estate.
• Development activities - Demonstrable ability to analyse requirements, design and develop solutions. Adapts existing patterns to develop scalable solutions. Demonstrates extensive knowledge of technologies and/or SME knowledge of a technology, advising others on design, development and implementation
• Bug fixes and minor improvements - Design and implement solutions for longer term fixes for bugs and functionality improvement requests. Responsible for analysis, coding, testing and release processes as applicable
• Lead scrum teams - Ability to lead small scrum teams
• Communication with collaborators - Builds positive relationships with collaborators. Communicates technical information clearly and concisely
• Learning and Development - Takes a proactive approach to invest time in learning and development of technology products for self and the team.
• Continuous improvement - Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (
• Out of hours support / On-call support \xe2\x80\x93 Should be willing to provide support if need arises in the project.

Required Skills and Experience

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Demonstrable experience in a Software development and delivery role
• Reasonable experience of Business and Technical Analysis, Quality Assurance
• Good communication, presentation, documentation, and interpersonal skills
• Consistent record as a self-starter with the ability to multi-task and prioritize among multiple demands;
• Collaborative team spirit
• Able to self-manage and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated and proactive with proven critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of Application development lifecycle and methodologies
• Proficient in .NET, C#, SQL skills.
• Good understanding and experience with Devops tools, CICD Pipelines
• Experience with Agile development processes (SCRUM and Kanban).
• Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows
• Knowledge of Scripting (Shell scripting, Python), Exposure to XML
• Proficiency in tools - version control repository/Deployment (bitbucket, GitLab, Docker)
• Familiarity using tools such as Service Now, Confluence, Jira
