Job Description

- Mechanical Design, using CAD tools Autodesk INVENTOR (Must), AutoCAD & Solid Edge- Should have good knowledge is design software like Autodesk Inventor/Solid works/Solid Edge- Should have knowledge on drawing standards, GD&T, ASME standards- Should have good academic record- Should have good communication skill- Should have creative knowledge suitable for design- Should be well versed in selection of mechanical components including motor, servo, bearings, LM rails, wheels, gears, oil seal etc.- Should be familiar in calculations in deriving design of shaft, gears, structural members, thermal heat etc.- Should have designed special purpose machines for any application- Should have basic knowledge of FEA in inventor and solid edge software- Should have basic knowledge in electrical- Capability to generate concept design & convert to detail design after approval using CAD Software as mentioned above - Monitor design documentation and record maintenance- Should have knowledge of GD &T, ASME standards, Tolerances. Etc.- Should know detailed calculations to develop Design & drawings for manufacturing, construction, installation standards and specifications- Should coordinate with production, manufacturing & Quality control- Well versed in selection of Mechanical components including motor, servo, bearings, LM rails, wheels, gears, oil seal, O-rings etc- Responsible for design & Development- Should have the knowledge of new product development (NPD), Bought outs, Standard parts - Delivering project on time without reworks- Experienced Sheetmetal design & drawings- Innovative, Creative & Analytical
