Job Description

Technical Skills:

• Passion for End-to-end database support including Development,administration,Deployments,Maintainence with proven background in supporting databases like Oracle, POSTGRESQL including excellent SQL and Unix skills.
• Experience using Oracle packages, procedures, views, materialized views, nested tables, user defined functions, packages and triggers, external and partition tables ,cursors and bulk processing.
• Experience working with XML and JSON parsing within database.
• Able to write complex Database objects coordinating with developers and testing team.
• Working knowledge on Unix commands to interact with Linux serves
• Exposure to AWS DMS will be additional plus
• Optimizing database performance by tuning SQL queries and PL/SQL code
• Managing Oracle, PostgreSQL databases on AWS RDS
• Exposure to databases like Elastic Search, NoSQL, ETL good to have

Your daily work will be basically as follows:

• Working in an agile scrum team that works in a T-shape model to achieve a common goal and delivers value in 2-week sprints.
• Taking advantage of XP techniques such as test-driven development, pair programming and continuous delivery

• Being transparent with the team about project challenges, failures and successes
• Writing technical documentation and application design artefacts
• Presenting technical proposals to business partners for scrutiny and assessment
• Pair programming with squad members
• Ensuring that software delivery meets the company\xe2\x80\x99s standards with regards to architecture, quality, accessibility, security and privacy

• Ensuring that software has the appropriate level of test coverage at the right level of the test pyramid
• Working in an agile software development environment, supporting the writing and refinement of user stories and tasks
