Our core products - Actaba, Detaba, and Sagri - offer innovative solutions in agricultural management and optimization. We are now developing an advanced MRV (Measure, Report, and Verify) and decarbonization platform for agricultural enterprises, aimed at revolutionizing sustainability practices in the agricultural sector.Website: https://sagri.tokyo/en/The RoleWe are looking for a Senior Data Scientist with expertise in remote sensing and satellite data analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, data analytics, and environmental science, and will play a key role in developing and implementing data-driven solutions for our remote sensing projects.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement advanced machine learning models and algorithms for satellite data analysis
• Process and analyze large-scale remote sensing data to extract meaningful insights
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute data-driven projects
• Develop and maintain data processing pipelines for satellite imagery and other remote-sensing data
• Conduct research and stay updated with the latest advancements in remote sensing and data science
• Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through detailed reports and presentations
• Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the growth of the data science team

• You possess a Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, or a related field, and have at least 5 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or Data Scientist, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• You have strong proficiency in Python and experience with cloud platforms (AWS)
• You have extensive experience with machine learning frameworks and data processing technologies
• You have experience with satellite image processing and geospatial data analysis
• You have knowledge of carbon accounting principles and environmental reporting standards
• You have experience in tech-leading cross-team engineering efforts
• You have strong software engineering practices, including debugging/profiling, version control, and system design
• You have excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment
• Experience with or understanding of satellite-based remote sensing and agriculture is a plus
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and experience with database systems (RDBMS/NoSQL) is a plus
• Familiarity with monitoring systems, logging, operations, and SLO/SLA concepts is a plus
• Experience working in AgriTech or environmental sustainability sectors is a plus
