Roles and Responsibility
Senior Data Scientist

Role:•

Build strong working relationships with key business stakeholders in order to identify technical solutions to solve complex business problems.•

Define the data science roadmap and own end to end project development, delivery and implementation.•

Develop exploratory proof of concept machine learning models following an agile test and learn approach.•

Work closely with our data engineers to enhance our model deployment architecture.•

Be an expert in the field of data science to mentor and support junior team members.•

Continue to develop our data science capabilities through technical research, collaboration with subject matter experts (both internal and external) and new data source identification.

Key Skills:•

Experience in Machine Learning, supervised and unsupervised: - Forecasting,
Classification, Regression, Text Mining, NLP, Decision Trees, Adaptive Decision Algorithms,
Random Forest, Search Algorithms, Gradient algorithms etc•

Exposure to pre trained models and LLMs•

Exposure to Neural Networks/Deep Learning Algorithms•

Good understanding of basic statical techniques QC tools, ANOVA, Hypothesis, Chi Square tests•

Experience in creating simple web pages using HTML/ASP.Net•

Should have owned at least one ML model's complete life cycle in production.•

Should have analyzed the performance of this deployed model and deduced prescriptive ML / business actions•

Experience with programming languages like Python, analytical packages/libraries like Pandas, Scikit-learn, Seaborn, matplotlib, numpy etc)•

Identify and choose the right AI or cognitive computing technologies for solving problems and formulate AI recipes for development.•

Develop required machine learning models or prototype applications applying formulated AI recipes and verify the problem/solution fit.•

Using innovative ideas to collect, curate or synthesize data•

Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (like Keras or TensorFlow)•

Fair knowledge on any RDBMS (MySQL / Oracle /MS SQL)•

Benchmark, validate and test the solution for real-world environments•

Optimize the solution for accuracy and performance•

Experience developing with AI cloud platforms and services (Google cloud, AWS, Azure) is desirable•

Must be a self-starter with the ability to manage their own work.•

Demonstrated history of successful ML projects

Good To Have:•

Design and build production-grade Large Language Models (LLM) Apps, PoC, and MVP by leveraging advanced NLP, GenAI Tech and foundational models.•

Be an NLP and ML expert leveraging GenAI, and LLM to build high-quality AI Systems•

Have at least good understanding on any one of the domains- Healthcare, BFS, Insurance, Retail etc.

Experience:

8 to 10 years of relevant experience

Qualifications:
Bachelor's / master's in Computer Science/ Data science with 3-5 year's experience OR in Statistics/Mathematics with minimum 3-5 relevant years of experience
