Department Overview
Consumer and Small Business Banking (CSBB) provides financial services to 21 million retail bank households and 3 million small business customers through approximately 4,500 retail branches, 17 customer service centers, and approximately 13,000 ATMs in 36 states and the District of Columbia. Team Overview
The CSBB analytics group works across the Consumer & Small Business Banking (CSBB) lines of business to develop coordinated strategies for growth in each of Wells Fargo's customer segments. The team is responsible for designing seamless, engaging customer experiences across products and channels, and building the next-generation digital, data and analytics, and functional capabilities required to deliver toward these objectives.

In this role, you will: • Perform moderately complex data analysis to support and drive strategic initiatives and business needs.
• Develop data visualization solutions to display analytical results & insights for business consumption.
• Understand the business question & context to create a logical & structured analytical approach & solution and translate it to the business impact/value.
• Support the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring analytical application of industry techniques, complex data from multiple sources, and business insights.
• Develop a strong understanding of the internal data structures to effectively deliver analytical solutions.
• Ensure adherence to compliance and legal regulations and policies on all projects.
• Help the team deliver solutions that are long-term, large-scale, and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical, and coordination of highly complex activities.
• Support multiple complex projects, analyses, and application of techniques within the supporting businesses and across the enterprise.
Required Qualifications: • 5-6+ years of experience in Business Analytics, Management Reporting, Statistics, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training & education.
• Experience in analytical languages & platforms such as SQL, SAS, Python, Teradata, etc.
• Experience in BI & reporting using SSRS, Tableau, Power BI and/or ThoughtSpot.
• Strong understanding of data structures, data warehousing & ability to wrangle/ manipulate data for analytical needs.
• Experience in working on statistical techniques like segmentation, regression, decision trees, forecasting etc.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills.
• Strong communication and writing skills with high proficiency in grammar and articulation of insights & findings.
• Highly analytical, deeply curious about data and how to make it actionable.
• Ability to deep dive on data issues, resolve to the fullest, challenge interpretation, cull insights and make recommendations on facts and logics.
• Ability to learn & upskill on various analytics tools & techniques.
• Post Graduate degree (MBA/M.Tech./M.Sc. or equivalent) in any quantitative subjects like Statistics, Mathematics, Computers or Economics.
Good-to-have qualifications: • Financial services (e.g., consumer credits, small business banking) experience is good to have.
