Urgently looking for the Senior Data Engineer for onsite at the location of GurgaonJob description:We are seeking a passionate, hands-on and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team. You will play a key role in implementing large scale Data platforms with our customers. The candidate will collaborate with internal and customer teams on multiple initiatives. The candidate is expected to lead following work-streams:Implement, develop and maintain data platforms on the hyper scalers such as AWS/GCP/Azure, including data pipelines, data warehousing, and machine learning workflows.Work with customers to deploy and manage their data environments using upstream and downstream technologies like Airflow, Terraform, DBT, Tableau etc.Provide technical support and guidance to customers during ongoing implementation.Lead and participate in daily standup meetings to continuously assess data needs and deliver those.Hire, develop and mentor data engineers and analysts in the team.Ideal candidate will have following Background and Skills:BackgroundUndergraduate Degree in any quantitative discipline such as engineering, science or economics from a Top-Tier institution.Minimum 3 years of experience (4+ years a plus) in Data engineering. 1+ years of hands-on experience on Databricks is preferred.Proficiency in Data modeling and design. Track record in implementing petabyte scale data platforms in Cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure/GCP.Hands-on experience with Modern Data stack tools like Airflow, Terraform, DBT etc.Proficiency in SQL and Data visualization tool like Tableau.Professional level Certifications in AWS/GCP/Azure is a plus.Skills:Strong Problem-solving abilityStrong communication & interpersonalAbility to handle ambiguity and fast-paced environment,Ability to understand the technology stack, dependencies between applications and how the data flows between themHighly adaptable to change and an excellent team player with the ability to influence and negotiate.Interested candidates can share their updated CV at -amit.kr@adminlooks.com
