Job Summary: Senior Security Operations Centre (SOC) Analyst will protect Clarivate\'s hardware, software, and networks from theft, loss, or unauthorized access. Ensure the monitoring and analysis of events to protect People, Technology and Process addressing all security incidents and ensuring timely escalation. We are looking for a Senior SOC Analyst to join our Information Security Team in Bangalore, India. This is an amazing opportunity to work on information security related challenges and to protect the Clarivate environment from unauthorized access and cyber attacks. You will ensure the monitoring and analysis of events to protect People, Technology and Process addressing all security incidents and ensuring timely escalation. The team consists of 33 people and is reporting to the SOC Manager. About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments At least 3 years of experience in the security space. At least 1 year experience working in a SOC environment, preferably in cloud-based product development organization. Proven ability to work with team members in disparate time zones and working hours. Strong knowledge of security principles and technologies in application, infrastructure, network, cloud, and endpoint security Bachelor\'s degree in computer science or equivalent field. Experience and proven track record may replace education requirements. It would be great if you also had . . . Relevant security certification (GIAC, ISC2, etc.) Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and promote ideas at various levels of the organization. Strong self-directed work habits exhibiting initiative, drive, creativity, maturity, self-assurance, professionalism, and the ability to autonomously manage multiple workstreams. What will you be doing in this role Monitor and operate the SOC tools and resources. Analyze internal events and investigations escalated by the managed SOC. Contribute to regular training sessions to facilitate knowledge-sharing within the team. Contribute to the incident response efforts. Participate in internal Red/Blue Team activities. Discover and eliminate redundancies in the security incident response process. Create new and update existing runbooks. Implement and test information security controls in enterprise, cloud, and product environments. Stay up to date on current and emerging security threats and effectively operate security tools to mitigate threats where possible.
