The overall objective of this role is to provide legal support, advice and guidance across a broad range of practice areas.Responsibilities:The scope of the role would be overseeing legal for the following businesses:\xef\x82\xb7 Corporate Banking\xef\x82\xb7 Commercial Banking\xef\x82\xb7 Issuer Services\xef\x82\xb7 Trade & Transaction BankingIn this role, you\xe2\x80\x99re expected to:\xef\x82\xb7 To provide legal advice, guidance and support for all issues related to and manage Legal Risks for above businesses.\xef\x82\xb7 To ensure that exposure to legal risk is managed and the execution of business and operational strategies and initiatives is facilitated.\xef\x82\xb7 To draft, review and negotiate agreements and documents with clients.\xef\x82\xb7 To standardize documents and streamline processes.\xef\x82\xb7 Provide prompt, commercial, practical legal advice to above businesses;\xef\x82\xb7 Be proactive in the provision of legal support and in advising the business promptly of material legal developments and their implications;\xef\x82\xb7 Liaise with panel law firms and other appropriate external parties.As a successful candidate, you\xe2\x80\x99d ideally have the following skills and exposure :12-13 years of experienceBanking/financial industry experience or experience from big law firmProven analytical and organizational skillsConsistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communicationBar license in good standing to practice lawBachelor\'s degree/University degree or equivalent experienceMaster\'s degree preferredWorking at Citi is far more than just a job.
