We treat each other with care and respect and make time to give everyone a voice.#LI-HT1Main Purpose:The resource will be responsible overall cost management services which includes managing the precontract works like prequalification of vendor, preparing tender document, floating tender documents, arranging and attending negotiation meeting, tender report etc. & post contract works like bill certifications, variation management, measurements of works, rate analysis etc.Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing tenders for clients and commercial bids to help bring in new business
  • Developing and presenting project proposals
  • Meeting with clients to find out their requirements
  • Producing plans and estimating budgets and timescales
  • Discussing, drafting, reviewing and negotiating the terms of business contracts
  • Agreeing budgets and timescales with the clients
  • Managing construction schedules and budgets
  • Dealing with any unexpected costs
  • Attending site meetings to monitor progress
  • Acting as the main point of contact for clients, site and project managers
  • Working with third parties to ensure that everyone understands their roles and responsibilities
  • Making sure construction projects meet agreed technical standards
  • Liaising with technical and financial staff, sub-contractors, legal teams and the client\xe2\x80\x99s own representatives
  • Overseeing invoicing at the end of a projectWorking on-site and in an office.
  • Draft, evaluate, negotiate and execute contracts
  • Establish and maintain supplier relationships by serving as a single point of contact for contractual matters
  • Manage record keeping for all contract-related correspondence and documentation
  • Provide contract-related issue resolution, both internally and externally
  • Monitor and complete contract close-out, extension or renewal, as appropriate
  • Communicate contract-related information to all stakeholders
  • FIDIC knowledge would be added advantage
#LI-HT1QualificationsB.E. Civil - Industrial, residential, commercial building experienceNICMAR / equivalent would be an added advantage
  • Minimum of five years progressive responsibility with quantifiable results in contract negotiation, administration and/or management
  • Demonstrated negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Strong contract modeling software skills
  • Robust skills in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project and Visio
  • Ability to meet project objectives within designated constraints
