Role: Senior Content Writer-Reviews (Consultant) Location: Mumbai (Remote) Reporting to: Content Research & Strategy Manager About Koimoi: Koimoi.com is Indias top digital entertainment portal with over 15+ million monthly visitors. It is part of the 2win Group (games2win.com) that is a pioneer of Interactive Entertainment & Engagement in India. What are we looking for? We are looking for a Senior Content Writer based in Mumbai who can write theatrical and OTT reviews for Bollywood and Hollywood movies (Bollywood is a must) and articles for Koimoi.com. Someone who eats, drinks and breathes Entertainment! Along with that, a keen interest in TV & OTT space is a must. :
- Cover theatrical/OTT reviews on a monthly basis
- Write articles for Koimoi.com as per the assigned targets & categories.
- Cover Media Events in Mumbai and be willing to travel to other cities for media events as required.
- Should have written online reviews for a National/International platform of repute (kindly share the review links with the byline)
- Should have good contacts with PRs and be a regular on their media invite list
- Willing to conduct cast & crew interviews if required (video/audio/print) and should be a regular on their media invite list.
- Come up with creative ideas to expand the content on Koimoi.
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in reviewing movies & writing content.
- Should have a solid command over the English language, vocabulary & grammar.
- Should understand how to use WordPress and its plugins. Awareness of SEO and SMM is an additional benefit.
- Should be flexible to work in shifts as per roster and at odd times as required for press shows/events.
- Should be quick to understand and prioritize content that matters.
- To be a great writer, you need to be an amazing editor first. Should be able to proofread grammar & language before publishing.
- You should know your readers! You should know who youre serving in order to cook a delicious meal.
- Cut, copy & paste only look good on a keyboard. You should be able to create content that works.
- Experience with video content will be an added advantage.
