FIFXMM Content Pricing team handles the collection, maintenance, analysis and dissemination of high-quality reference and pricing content for Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange and MM clients using our flagship products. The senior specialist profile pertains to managing, driving forward and efficiently working on pivotal initiatives spanning across different areas. The FI FXMM Pricing group covers vast asset classes within Fixed Income, FX and Money Market instruments including Government & Corp Bonds, CDS, CDS Indices, FX Spots, Forwards, Options, NDFs, IRS, Repos, CDs, CPs, Realtime Analytics content, benchmarks, etc.The purpose of this role is to provide subject matter expertise and skills within FI Realtime Pricing group to drive strategic projects, spanning different areas including regulation, with a specific focus on supporting the operations teams on cross content Real-time workflow, managing partner relationships, working with clients to provide data solutions and also in providing structure and leadership to tactical initiatives. It is a strategic role which requires sophisticated knowledge of FI content, LSEG products, and the related tools, infrastructures and databases involved in the management of this content. The role requires decision making skills pertaining to the real-time processes and workflows and consider financial implications, both short and long term. Active and successful collaboration with various internal teams from business representatives to development teams is central to the role. Encouraged to strategically influence and guide the area of specialty.Crucial Responsibilities

  • Support production teams deliver projects from Real-time perspective in Fixed Income.
  • Work closely with the production teams and partners to ensure project deliveries are communicated clearly.
  • Supports the ops teams in challenging data queries from both internal and external clients and provides support to partners.
  • Play a pivotal role in leading change activities, work on improving change plans, and deliver on required changes.
  • Identifies potential data improvements and consults with content operations and related groups for possible implementation.
  • Works with and involves cross functional teams to provide Root Cause Analysis to find solutions in problem areas.
  • Provides ongoing training and mentoring to the team, always with a team-oriented demeanor. Play a lead role in formulating and documenting new training plans, process flows, methods of work, etc.
  • Ensures effective communication of information relevant to own area of responsibility and affecting the larger group re: changes, developments, news, regulations, etc.
  • Provides expertise & support in developing new methods of working which focus on cost-effectiveness & resource efficiency.
  • Prepares & presents formal Business Requirements Specification documents that clearly communicate the business requirement for a given project within the expected timeline.
  • Maintains up to date data set expertise & works to develop further content & technical knowledge.
  • Juggles multiple projects at once, often including high profile projects.
  • Clarifies content policy issues and collection methodologies in collaboration with operations and development teams.
  • Facilitate problem solving on data and product issues, including database infrastructure and maintenance procedures knowing who to involve and when.
  • Ensures timely and successful implementation of content enhancements.
Required Skills:
  • Strong understanding of FI real-time systems like FMS, GEDA, EVM, Elektron etc
  • Clear understanding of E2E dataflow of FI instruments
  • Knowledge on Financial markets, with strong focus in Fixed Income
  • Tried experience of handling changes under the required guidelines
  • Authority on Data Notification process
  • Good understanding of PE and PDP concepts
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are ideal, as is the ability to work under the pressure of tight schedule.

Desired Skills:
  • Minimum 5 years of market experience in the financial services industry.
  • Minimum 4 years of knowledge of Fixed Income content and related systems.
  • Good knowledge of LSEG products, including Elektron networks, Workspace, databases and end-to-end processes.
  • Experience in leading business/market event changes in the Fixed Income space.
  • Basic understanding of regulatory practises in the financial market and their implications.
