Provide domain expertise, skills and specific knowledge within data/content in order to build and maintain the content covered by Entity Content
Advice internal and external customers on Service and Quality Improvement plans
Set guidelines on various content related aspects considering markets and customer requirement
Some of the daily expected tasks that you will Perform:
In depth Analysis to be done on queries, identify root cause and drive action plans to improve the Quality thereby improve the overall customer experience
Creating, extracting and manipulating data in relational databases and stored procedures
Periodic/ongoing maintenance/review of content sources for efficacy and applicability
Ad-hoc content research
Act as the main contact and give technical presentations on area of expertise
Facilitate problem solving on data & product issues, including database infrastructure and maintain procedures
Represent content groups & asset classes in projects or discussions with our customers.
Prepare & present formal reports of recommendations on service improvements to our customers.
Provide guidance and creativity in developing new methods of working which focus on cost effectiveness & resource efficiency
Clearly explain data flow, maintenance processes end to end, and impact of quality/technical issues on mid /end-users
Ensure documentation on workflows, product flows & practices is up to date and consistent
Ensure client requirements are taken into account, and help production teams to achieve desired results
Ensure awareness of customer views on content & recommend improvements/raise problem statements as needed
Connect with other LSEG employees and external agencies to enhance the accuracy of data we provide.
Design, plan and conduct training modules for Analysts - collaborate with Knowledge Management and Training Specialists
What do you need to bring?
Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate evidence of the following:
Understanding of the Entity Content processes and procedures
Sound experience of work prioritization (re-prioritization), project management and problem-solving
Advanced SQL capabilities
Ability to handle large quantities of data
Good experience of process management, including process mapping
Excellent communications and presentation skills - written and spoken
Sound knowledge of MS Office applications e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Shift Flexibility (Our key clients are based out in Americas)
Ability to operate with minimal guidance
It is useful if candidates carry:
Experience in process improvements
Entity Content/Counterparty experience
Refinitiv data and systems knowledge
Fixed Income, Equity Knowledge
Mentor and train analysts on data issues, databases & products.
Impart training to the new joiners on the dataset.
Frequently run automated/semi-automated checks to ensure production of high quality of content.
Regularly works with specialists from their data set on specific projects and will work directly with an external customer.
Work with development as well as project team members.
Ensure process/training documentation is maintained.
Required Skill:
Basic understanding of SQL [Extracting/Analyze data from DB]
Expertise in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Analytical skills
Effectively communicate to customers both internally & externally.
Proficiency in spoken and written English is needed.
Ability to quickly learn the process and tools being used by their team
- Intermediate computer knowledge is a must - Windows Operating system
Good understanding of LSEG products and workflows
