• Identifying and managing test resource training requirements
• Do testing issue escalation. Progress reporting and definition of test metrics
• Reinforcing alignment of testing practices across Global pods. Coordination of the cross Global/UK pod end to end testing
• Coordination of testing drops between Global and Regional. Do defect management - Driving the triage, priority and fixing of defects (MCT).
• Support Regional Test Manager who is responsible for CERT defects. Global Test Manager ensure co-ordination of the global defects.
• At critical times when additional focus and attention is required on defects set up regular defect calls and push the Engineering teams to prioritize and report accurately in JIRA. Produce a dashboard to track at release level as and when required for MI.
• Root cause analysis for MCT defects.
• Work independently in Production Support team for Digital Systems.

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Strong Knowledge of Testing Concepts, ISTQB Preferred, Jira
• Experience in testing web based banking application
• Knowledge of CICD, new ways of working
• Experience in agile.
• Good Communication skills, Analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate ability to rapidly build relationships with key stakeholders
• Lead, Mentor, guide and train team members.
• Good knowledge and working experience in Agile / scrum / Kanban methodologies.
