Join our Data Discovery and Access team at AstraZeneca as a Scrum Master. This full-time role, based at our GITC site in Chennai, offers the opportunity to lead the day-to-day management of Agile delivery, ceremonies, and reporting. You will be instrumental in ensuring the clarity & accuracy of Agile metrics, excellence of ceremonies, consistent test-driven development, and effective collaboration with the Product Owners, Business Analyst, Project Manager and Tech Lead.Accountabilities:
As a Scrum Master, you will provide leadership throughout our software development lifecycle, from the initial development of a technical design based on a blueprint, right through to hypercare. Your passion for growing developers into their best skillset and delivering well-engineered data and analytics solutions will be key to your success in this role.Essential Skills/Experience:
- Excellent Jira skills including the ability to rapidly generate JQL on-the-fly
- Fantastic written & spoken English, interpersonal skills, and a collaborative approach to delivery
- An enthusiasm for great documentation; significant experience in documenting via Confluence
- Exposure to Airfocus, Miro, Workboard a plus
- Experience of Agile practices, preferably having been part of an Agile team for several years
- Scrum master certification- Experience as a developer and/or tester and/or Business Analyst
- Hands-on experience as a scrum master
- Desire to understand the business requirements, team structure, ways of working and collaborate across the organization
- Willingness to work in an agile and flexible environment
