Should be able to customise analysis for project requirements. \xe2\x80\x8bTranslate business problem into analytical framework, break into task and assign to team members. \xe2\x80\x8bMake technical decisions on data preparation and modeling such that business questions can be answered.\xe2\x80\x8bWork with available data \xe2\x80\x93 be able to analyse with limited or complex data and provide a feasible solution framework.\xe2\x80\x8bEnsure that every piece of work is delivered with accuracy and on time.\xe2\x80\x8bManage client expectations on deliverables. \xe2\x80\x8bCreate project parameters (meta-data) and guide data harmonization for modelling. \xe2\x80\x8bBuild hypotheses and develop models which are statistically sound and make business sense\xe2\x80\x8bGuide modelling in the team\xe2\x80\x8bTranslate model results into answers for the client in business language.\xe2\x80\x8bEnsure consistent delivery across projects by strict adherence to process. \xe2\x80\x8bContribute to process improvement through ideas and implementation (automation in Excel Macros / VBA / R / Python) \xe2\x80\x8bBuild custom tools (in Excel) for simulation / optimization for client use, when necessaryResponsible for internal reporting of project related metrics. This includes but is not limited to docking time spent on projects accurately by self and project team, inputs into time plans and effort estimation, training team on process. \xe2\x80\x8bAccountable for compliance to organizational requirement for self.\xe2\x80\x8bProviding unbiased feedback for bi-annual and annual appraisals for team members who work with you. \xe2\x80\x8bContribute to entry level hiring.\xe2\x80\x8bThis is an individual contributor role reporting into an Analytics Manager or a Senior Analytics Manager.\xe2\x80\x8bEssential Skills:\xe2\x80\x8bGood spoken and written English communication. Ability to speak in business terms is a required skill. \xe2\x80\x8bShould be able to translate numbers, techniques, statistics into implications for the client\xe2\x80\x99s business.\xe2\x80\x8bStrong sense of ownership of projects\xe2\x80\x8bAbility to work independently and with a team to deliver projects\xe2\x80\x8bShould have worked with SAS, SQL, R, SPSS or equivalent analytical tools\xe2\x80\x8bCandidates with ability to automate repetitive tasks using Python, SQL, VBA or other tools are preferred.\xe2\x80\x8bAdded advantage, if the candidate is PMP certified \xe2\x80\x8b\xe2\x80\x8bEducational Qualification:\xe2\x80\x8bMasters in statistics or economics \xe2\x80\x8bOr 4-year Bachelor\'s Degree in engineering from reputed university along with PGDM / MBA in marketing\xe2\x80\x8b4+ years of experience in business analytics experience in Marketing and Media Mix, Time series forecasting.
