Job Title : Senior Consultant / Leader - Sustainability and Net-Zero Company : Yadgreen India Location : Chennai, India Mode : On-site Department : Carbon Project Development About Yadgreen India : Yadgreen Agricultural Co. is a well-established Blue Carbon Developer & Implementor based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and other parts of Middle East. We are expanding our operations to India, with a focus on Sustainability & Net-zero Practices. Our India office, located in Chennai will support projects in the Middle East and offer Carbon & Sustainability Services for India and other geographies. : Yadgreen India is seeking dedicated and results-driven individuals to join our Carbon Team as Senior Consultants or Leaders in Sustainability. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team that is committed to driving sustainability and environmental goals. Key Responsibilities: Possess a good understanding of ESG and Sustainability issues, drivers, and challenges, and their alignment with business value. Familiarity with sustainability reporting standards such as BRSR, GRI, SASB, SBTi, TCFD and others. Be proactive, accountable, and result-oriented, with the ability to lead and drive sustainability initiatives. Demonstrate the ability to think creatively and adapt previous experience and solutions to new projects. Work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic team and environment, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Perform Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emission calculations for Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions. Engage in roadmap creation and lead the implementation of sustainability strategy and initiatives, in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Be a fast learner and a quick thinker, adapting to evolving sustainability trends and practices. Qualifications: A graduate degree in environment, sustainability, agricultural science, or engineering is preferred. Experience: At least 4 years of experience in a reputed organization, with a proven track record in sustainability related roles.
