If you join us, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be part of a diverse, global organization with a strong reputation for exceptional work-life balance, flexible work options, outstanding international career opportunities, generous contributions to your pension, and a commitment to invest in your personal development.The Global Communications team at Wolters Kluwer, which is responsible for elevating the overall company narrative and bringing a consistent, strategic message to our key internal and external stakeholders is looking for a Senior Communications Specialist to \xe2\x80\x9cBe The Difference\xe2\x80\x9d with strategic communications initiatives underway across the company.As a member of the external communications team, this energetic, proactive, and strategic communicator will work across the entire global communications team in helping to accelerate the media visibility of the company, its divisions, and businesses in APAC.In this role, you will build relationships with key APAC based publications, journalists and other thought leaders, develop press releases, media alerts and pitches, proactively position our thought leadership in the media, evangelize our positions as one the world\xe2\x80\x99s leading technology companies, support the mitigation of potential issues/crisis situations, and partner with key leaders and colleagues internally to accelerate the company\xe2\x80\x99s overall press visibility.The exciting aspect of this role is that it works across our entire external communications team and all our divisions creating ample opportunities for press outreach, learning and development.Responsibilities

• Write, edit and publish press releases, media alerts, and other content.
• Respond to media inquiries and proactively pitch the media on the Wolters Kluwer story.
• Work across our entire external communications team to further strategic initiatives with APAC relevance.
• Be immersed in the development of branded videos, podcasts, and webinars.
• Gather metrics to measure communication effectiveness; assist with our monthly reporting and communications dashboards.
• Monitor Wolters Kluwer press coverage and play a critical role in disseminating our daily news feed to key internal stakeholders.

• Support the creation of strategic communication plans with timing and tactics, toolkits, and briefs that will accelerate our AI narrative and visibility.
• Partner closely with brand, marketing, legal, */DxG, GBS and other Wolters Kluwer functions, divisions, businesses, and communications teams.
• Tracking communications projects, milestones, and schedules to completion.
• Maintaining and updating our media distribution lists.

Experience

• 7-10 years of communications experience.
• Experience working in fast paced environments, particularly within the technology sector.
• Strong, existing set of media contacts, particularly within the technology sector.
• Experience working within corporate communications departments or at a PR agency.
• Outstanding writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Ability to multitask, deadline driven, can work independently & manage competing deadlines.
• Is motivated to grow, energized to make an impact and is ready to learn.
• Is willing to put their hand up to take on new and exciting projects and stretch their skillset.
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s in communications, Journalism and/or Marketing or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of the English language.
• Exceptional ability to communicate (written and verbal) in both English and Hindi.
