You will be part of a diverse and creative team that is continually striving to offer the best quality products and services that are continuously transforming air travel.As a Network Engineer, you will play a key role in the technical development, deployment, and configuration of SITA SD-WAN solutions for our customers.The ideal candidate will have good problem-solving skills and a strong desire to implement scalable and sustainable technological solutions. Part of the scope includes a close working interlock with development, operations, and IT teams to automate and optimize our systems, ensuring they are highly available, performing, and resilient.WHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL DO

• Implement and configure customer SD-WAN solutions.
• Work alongside Network Operations teams to troubleshoot issues and identify and implement solutions.
• Work closely with cloud infrastructure engineers, architects and portfolios to provide technical expertise and input into designs, ensuring high availability, scalability and security.

• Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems ensuring they comply with industry standards, regulations, and organizational security policies, collaborate with cybersecurity team to identify and mitigate threats.

• Configure and manage Versa SDWAN and Cisco and network devices (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Ensure that Network environments adhere to security best practices and organizational compliance requirements.
• Automate routine tasks and create tools to improve efficiency and system robustness; use IaC tools to manage configurations, ensuring consistency and repeatablility.
• Maintain and update network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and operational practices to ensure knowledge transfer within the team.

Qualifications:ABOUT YOUR SKILLS

• 2-3 years demonstrable knowledge and experience in:

• Networking & Security fundamentals (Network Topologies, Routing Protocols, Switching concepts, Firewalls, Security Protocols, etc.)
• Understanding and experience with EIGRP, OSPF and Spanning Tree
• Networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, DHCP, NTP, etc.)
• Experience and understanding of IPSec vpns \xe2\x80\x93 both site-to-site as well as Remote Access
• Hands-on implementation and configuration of SD-WAN solutions in a large and complex enterprise LAN/WAN environment.
• Experience beyond simple scripts, in languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, etc.
• Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze systems logs and data.
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

NICE-TO-HAVE

• Network certifications - Versa (VNX100/VNX400), Cisco (CCNA/CCNP) are a plus.
• Experience with Terraform or Ansible.
• Experience or understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation.
