Senior Cloud Engineer, Product Engineering - Research ProductsAre you thrilled to prepare a hosting platform from the scratch on a Cloud host? As a Cloud Engineer you would be closely working with the Application Development team supporting solution hosting for new launch as well as in maintenance. You would be managing the monitoring, uptime, scalability, performance, and security of the services in accordance with standard Thomson Reuters policies.About the RoleIn this opportunity as Senior Cloud Engineer, you will:

• Set up a new hosting from ground up choosing the appropriate Cloud services and maintain the platform.
• Provide appropriate site redundancy, reliability, and monitoring.
• Maintain a deep understanding of core public cloud security disciplines, with close attention to developing industry trends in the context of networking, identity, and platform security technologies.
• Maintain a deep understanding of capabilities and patterns to controlling access to the public cloud through authentication, authorization, access policy, and secrets management.
• Collaborate with business and technology peers to understand business goals, use cases for cloud-native deployments or lift-and-shift.
• Thoroughly interact with DevOps, platform engineering team, Network security engineers, and Identity build and run teams. Should be able to guide the teams to drive results and maturity.
• Continuously monitor the site operations looking for Security improvements and Cost efficiencies.
• Be well versed in threat detection and mitigation and apply the appropriate remediation measures.

About YouYou're a fit for the role of Senior Cloud Engineer if your background includes:

• 8+ years of Multi cloud expertise, preferably AWS & Oracle cloud
• Hands on experience working cloud platforms and automating the platform
• Docker & Kubernetes experience
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline setup
• Understanding of Agile practices
• Good communication skill
