Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Civil Engineer specializing in building projects to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and expertise in all phases of building construction, from initial design through to completion. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will lead a team of engineers and coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of building projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage building construction projects, including residential, commercial, and institutional buildings, from concept to occupancy.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other professionals to develop and review building designs, ensuring structural integrity, safety, and compliance with building codes and regulations.
• Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies to assess project requirements, constraints, and risks.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules, and ensure timely completion of deliverables within established parameters.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to procure materials, equipment, and services necessary for construction.
• Perform structural analysis and design calculations for building elements, including foundations, beams, columns, and slabs, using appropriate software tools.
• Manage construction activities, conduct site inspections, and address technical issues and conflicts as they arise.
• Monitor project progress, track milestones, and prepare regular progress reports for management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the construction process.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff, fostering professional development and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Participate in value engineering efforts to optimize project costs without compromising quality or performance.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in building construction and incorporate these into project designs and methodologies.
• Foster positive relationships with clients, consultants, and regulatory agencies to facilitate project approvals and resolve issues proactively.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on building construction projects.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering building projects of varying scales and complexity.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and managing project budgets and schedules.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of sustainable design principles and green building practices is desirable.
• Ability to travel to project sites and attend meetings as required.
• Local Candidate of Ahmedabad would be given preference. Must be ready to join Immediately or within 15 Days.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?35,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
