As a Senior Captain, youll be leading a passionate crew of servers, hosts, and event staff. Youll keep them energized, focused, and aligned on the ultimate goal: creating a seamless, memorable experience for our guests. Youll work closely with your team and collaborate with the chefs and event coordinators to make sure everything runs like clockwork.No matter the location or the size of the event, youll be the one who ensures that your team stays motivated and that every detail is taken care of. Youll help train new team members, manage shift schedules, and keep the vibe high. Together, you'll make sure our guests always feel like they're walking into their favorite place.WHO YOU WILL REPORT TO
Youll report to the Restaurant Manager or Event Manager, depending on the location. Theyll be your go-to for support, guidance, and all things operational. Together, youll ensure the restaurant or event runs smoothly, with your leadership as the backbone of excellent service.YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FORTeam Leadership & Motivation: Lead a dynamic team with energy and positivity, keeping them focused, engaged, and always ready to bring their A-game. Youll train new team members, provide ongoing support, and motivate your crew to ensure top-tier service every time.Creating the Experience: From the moment guests walk in, youll be there to make sure they feel welcomed and taken care of. Whether its overseeing service during a busy night or managing large-scale events, youll ensure that everything runs smoothly, with a strong focus on the guest experience.Event Execution: Youll oversee catering events, working alongside the kitchen and event teams to ensure that service runs seamlessly from start to finish. Youll manage setup, breakdown, and everything in betweenxe2x80x94making sure the event is a hit.Smooth Operations: Youll manage the floor, ensuring that everything is running efficiently, from coordinating the teams tasks to managing the flow of service. Youll keep everything on track, balancing speed with a personal touch.Problem-Solving: Youll be the go-to when things need to be sorted quickly. Whether its a guest concern or a logistical hiccup, youll address it with calm, professionalism, and a focus on finding solutions.Communication: Youll keep communication flowing smoothly between the kitchen, the front-of-house team, and the guest, ensuring that everything stays coordinated, efficient, and seamless.SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREDExperience: At least 2 years of experience as a Captain, Senior Captain, or similar role in a busy food and beverage environment.Leadership: You have natural leadership skills and know how to inspire your team to perform at their best. Youre the one who sets the tone for the shift, making sure everyone stays motivated and on track.Guest-Centered: You know how to make people feel special. Youre always looking for ways to enhance the guest experience and create moments thatll have them coming back for more.Organization: You thrive in a fast-paced environment.
