##### Project description

We are currently working with a well-known financial services organization in Australia which is using Calypso V16.1 as a front to back office system for Fixed income and IR derivatives business.

The bank now wants to establish a regression test service to cover Automation, Test Execution and Managing / Updating Test suits covering all products.


##### Responsibilities


Lead a team of test analysts, including:


Client stakeholder management and testing requirement gathering


Team coordination and prioritization of the book of work


Continuous improvement/automation of the regression test suite


Defining the target state of the testing framework and the plan to implement it


Drive the team expansion through recruitment


Setup a regression testing service across the Rates and Credit Technology Stack. This service should cover both ad-hoc as well as regular monthly regression testing activities.


Regression application coverage includes:


Calypso, Markit Analytics, Markitwire as well as potential other applications as agreed.


There currently is regression test automation already in place. It's important that this is maintained and that the team initiates activities to uplift the automation scope in agreement with the bank.


##### Skills


Must have


Overall 6+ years experience in Quality analysis or Devops in capital markets domain


At least 1 year Calypso working experience


ideally in Calypso Regression testing or development, with interest in test automation.


Advanced knowledge on preparing Test plan, Test Approach and Test Summary / Status documents.


Prior experience managing bank stakeholders


Strong automation experience with devops knowledge


Good communication and Team management skills.


Basic domain knowledge on Fixed Income and interest derivatives


Experience in Automation test frame work, Test script preparation / execution, and Defect Analysis.


Nice to have


Devops experience with tools like Ansible / Terraform / Jenkins / Groovy


Working experience on Bloomberg Trade and security, Markitwire interfaces


Good knowledge on Calypso Front and/or Back office modules


Technically minded with strong SQL/UNIX and FpML, XML knowledge


Test Automation using CATT
